Paving Stones

Paving stones are small-sized prismatic pieces used for executing outside roadways. The spectrum of most-used thicknesses varies between 4 and 12 cm, depending on the precise nature of the paving surface to be installed (pedestrian, light and heavy vehicles, permanent or temporary, etc.). The end result of a cobblestoned surface is an urban space with great harmony and beauty. The tone, texture and grain shape of different types of granite make this stone perfect for application over large surfaces. The result will not be tiresome due to the pattern intensity or bore due to chromatic monotony.

The execution of cobblestoned roadways can be done as a draining surface, suitable for light loads, laying it over sand bedding and closing the joints with a covering of sand. Conversely, it can be executed as an impermeable roadway, capable of bearing rolling traffic and heavy loads, if laid over a cement mortar bed.
